A Decade of Freedom
The Nordic Africa Institute participated in the conference “A Decade of Freedom: Celebrating the role of the international anti-apartheid movement in South Africa’s freedom struggle”, held in Durban 10 - 13 October 2004.
The University of Kwazulu Natal organised the conference at the International Convention Centre and invited people from all over the world that had been active in the anti-apartheid struggle. The organisers wanted to reflect on the role of the international community in the struggle for South Africa’s freedom and to thank the international activists.
The Archive Project presented its work through an exhibition and a presentation by the project coordinator Ms Marianne Lidskog.
